Ramadan is the month in which Muslims multiply their worship. In this month, God promises rewards are manifold and spread more love and Barakah. The most important to do is Fasting. Not only haven't get meal in the all day time but we should not do something bad and unethical.

Indonesia has so many local cultures so that has many types of wedding ceremony. Here the one example from my homeland Sidoarjo. Since we are in Moslem society, the ceremony also using Islamic rules such as the bride should wear hijab on their hair.

Yesterday, I with some friend have done the jobs located in Telaga Ngebel Ponorogo. It's such a beautiful Lake that not as really famous as Telaga Sarangan or Danau Toba at Sumatra. But believed in me, it is very very beautiful, so try this.

I with my friends took the leasure time in Batu Malang. Batu (=stone) is a beautiful area in Malang City. The air is fresh and little bit cold. Hmm very comfortible for enjoying vacation.

Sea World Indonesia

Last week we (I with my children and my friend, Meliza's family) went to Jakarta and visited Sea world. For my children, sea world was such a giant aquarium. Of course they enjoyed seeing sharks and tried to touch the small ones.

Ingredients:
1 cup watermelon
1 pack lemon yoghurt
1 tbs honey
4 ice cube

Methode :
add all ingredient in a blender and blend till smooth.
reserve for one cup.

Graduation

Last Saturday was very busy day for my school because of conducting graduation ceremony. As an Indonesian, graduation costum was defined as traditional costum especially for women called kebaya. Of course it's need some detailed and preparation. If the ceremony began at 9.00, the women should be prepared start from 4.00. so imagine, it was need 5 hours to wear the costume and make-up. but the result was amazing. we felt proud and beautiful on an extraordinary look

Wedding Period

Indonesia known as a riches culture land. the culture obviously shown in some kind of ceremony such as wedding ceremony, gave birth ceremony, funeral ceremony etc.

Many wedding ceremonies conduct on a special day in special month. Javanesse, very rigid to select wedding day because they believe there're good or bad months or days.
such as this April, it's a good month not because its April instead of its Maulud (month in Hijriah calendar)
there so many wedding party.
as part of culture, some of wedding party are carried out by entangling many people, neighbours, and friends causing requires wide area and blocking off public areas or streets. This resulting things that is sometime not thought up by organizer that is bothering others. when the traffict is blocked off, public who often trough those ways had to look for another.
and it will happen almost every week end of this April. oh sorry me

Lasagna Zuka-Zuka

Lasagna Zuka-Zuka

As an Indonesian, lasagna is a luxury meal. But here, I try to make it with low cost method. So I call it Lasagna Zuka-Zuka. Suka-suka means ‘whatever’. In my home land, tahu (tofu) and tempe were cheap and thank God, rich of protein. That why, I always used these two ingredients.

This lasagna, could be call as Oriental Lasagna plus some improvement in cheap ingredients and vegetables because of my 8 year old boy refuse to ear vegetable. So I take Rachel Ray’s suggestion to chopped the white color veggie like chicken meat. There some modification such the use of tomato, because of my 11 year old girl not really like this kind of veggie. She said that her tongue get itch if eating too many tomato.

Ingredients

6 slice of instant lasagna, stir on to boiled water

100 gr chicken meat, chopped

200 gr tofu chopped

200 gr mushroom chopped

1 tbs sesame oil

2 tbs margarine

1 tbs fish sauce

Garlic and Onion, minced

300 ml milk

100 ml meat broth

2 tbs flour

2 tomato, stir in boiled water and chopped

2 tbs tomato sauce

50 gr cheese, grated

Pepper

Salt

Sugar

Method

Heat sesame oil and 1 tbs margarine to stir-fry chopped garlic and onion until produce nice smell. Add chicken meat, tofu, veggie, fish sauce, tomato, and tomato sauce . Pour pepper salt and sugar.

In other pan, make the white sauce, head 1 tbs margarine and pour flour until mixed well. Add milk and meat broth, pepper, salt and sugar.

In a baked bowl, lay slice of lasagna covering the bowl, cover with white sauce, add 1/3 meat, repeat twice with remaining lasagna and all ingredients finishing with the white sauce. The last, sprinkle with cheese. Baked about 40 minute and serve warmly. Hmmm yummy

I plan to post many think I interest such as recipe (ow I love cooking very much even hardly have no time, hee...heee. I love sewing, make a patchwork or stitching and sing. there're many songs that inspired me to be a good mother. one of that is " the greatest love of all"

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and lead them live away

Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier
