Leasure Time

I with my friends took the leasure time in Batu Malang. Batu (=stone) is a beautiful area in Malang City. The air is fresh and little bit cold. Hmm very comfortible for enjoying vacation.

Planting Time

Here, our Beautiful Indonesia. This current months are the best time to plant rice corp. Fortunately, our family homeland close to a planting area. Every morning we see a wonderful views of rice-planting activity.

Marhaban ya Romadhon

Nowaday, we, all moslem people welcoming our holy month, Romadhon. As a javanese with full of traditional ceremony, one of welcoming romadhon tradition is celebrating this moment with preparing special cake calls APEM

this cake made from rice flour, fermented cassava and coconut milk plus of course sugar and a bit of salt. mix all ingredience. Let the mixture in a warm condition about 4-5 hours, and then bake

Sea World Indonesia

Last week we (I with my children and my friend, Meliza's family) went to Jakarta and visited Sea world. For my children, sea world was such a giant aquarium. Of course they enjoyed seeing sharks and tried to touch the small ones.

Kesemek (Persimmon/Diospyros kaki)

One of Indonesian specific fruit is 'kesemek'. Rich with vitamin A and C (higher than apple)

This fruit also rich with fiber, licopen as antiocsidant and help reduce cholesterol.

Batik

Batik has been Indonesian's culture characteristic. Nowaday, Batik become trend in many occasion. This blouse I made my self for our batik day in campus. Fortunately, I got cheap fabric. Just Rp. 20.000 per mtr (approx US$ 2).

ORCHID
